Meet Dr. Arias
An artist, a doctor,
and a Tampa kid who came home.
Dr. Eric Arias grew up in Tampa. He went to Jesuit High School, earned his undergraduate degree at Spring Hill College, and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery at The Ohio State University. When he finished, he came home to Tampa Bay — and he has been right here ever since, taking care of the same community he was raised in.
He opened his practice in 1990. Over 35 years of showing up for Tampa Bay families. His patients aren't strangers who found him on a search engine. Many are neighbors, longtime friends, and people whose children he has watched grow up and then treated themselves.
This is a boutique practice by design — four people, intentionally small, intentionally personal. Dr. Arias and Shelly designed and built the office themselves, and that care shows in every detail: a warm, calm environment that feels nothing like a dental chain. Shelly is the first voice you hear when you call and the warm face that greets you at the door. Tammy and Lisa welcome you back with joy. Patients here don't just stay for years — they stay for decades, and they send their families. Because it feels like one.
Outside the practice, he's a Bucs, Rays, and Buckeyes fan who takes his golf game seriously, raised his kids — Austin, 37 and Ana, 35 — alongside too many labradors, and is proud grandpa to Capri, 6. The same values that shaped him at home are the ones that built this practice.
